"I recently spent a weekend with Dani "Vani" McGuire studying the chakras as a module of our 500-hour teacher training. My thoughts prior to that weekend were "oh, another study of the chakras". The weekend was, however, one of the most powerful workshops I have taken. Dani was very creative in the asana practices we did throughout the study. She created 3 unique practices. Our opening practice was for the muladhara chakra and was very organic and grounded. The second focused on swadisthana and was very fluid and creative. The third was on the manipura, focusing on our core and sense of self.
